B.E.F. Music for listening to:
A brief lesson in the history of Sheffield, England.
In 1980 Martin Ware and Ian Craig Marsh left Human League and formed B.E.F. (British Electric Foundation). Sony just released the walkman and they decided to release this on cassette as Music for Stowaways. I'm sure this would sound good on headphones. The vinyl version which I ripped had the extra track A Baby Called Billy. Some of the songs are recognizable as early instrumental Heaven 17 songs. Soon after they got Glenn Gregory on vocals and changed their name to Heaven 17.
