Bratmobile - She Said

Here's a lo-fi love song reminiscent of the Vaselines recording under a big comforter, but in a good way. This was part of trple 7" package with bands from Richmond, Baltimore, & D.C. Each City's record had a different color; Pink, Brown, & White. I only have the white one with Bratmobile. I'm wondering if Richmond was Pink or Brown.

Soft Cell - Memorabilia 12"

A Memorabilia (long version)
B Persuasion

This is the long version of Memorabilia recorded in 1980 and released in 1981 on Some Bizzare records. The B-side, Persuasion, not to be confused with the song by friends Throbbing Gristle, is a lovely ditty on the horrors of supermarket consumerism. A demo version of Persuasion can be found remastered on the Demo Non Stop CD released 2006 on Some Bizzare records.

The Cure - Tianenman Faith

The song Faith has a history of improvised changes in lyrics while played live. This version was recorded the day of the murders in Tiananmen Square in China 6.06.89. This is an especially intense and angry version that lasts 15 minutes.

Maintenance

I'm in the process of trying to re-upload some past posts. I think rapidshare has changed things slightly so my files were only download-able 10 times. I will be switching them to mediafire and hopefully that will fix things for a while.
